Kabbalat Shabbat at the TLV Port
Join us outdoors each Friday from June 30 – September 22 at 6:00PM for a unique and musical Kabbalat Shabbat experience
Each Friday from June 30 – September 22, starting at 6:00pm, Beit Tefilah Israeli holds its uplifting Kabbalat Shabbat services — combining prayer, music, meditation, poetry, singing and dancing — in front of the sea at sunset on the deck at the Tel Aviv Port.

Entering the public sphere, we are joined by 1000 secular and traditional Israelis who gather weekly for this unique spiritual and cultural Shabbat experience. The success of BTI’s Kabbalot Shabbat at the port emphasizes the need for an Israeli indigenous Jewish and spiritual Shabbat experience in which secular Israel can participate. The beautiful scenery, the music from a band of 7 players, the rousing combination of traditional prayers and modern Hebrew poetry and songs, and the massive participation of up to 800 people singing and praying together creates a unique and transformative Jewish experience with a profound impact.
In addition to the Israelis who join, BTI’s Tel Aviv Port Kabbalat Shabbat services attracts rabbis and cantors, schools and youth groups, students and Jewish leaders, and visiting Jewish communities, from North America, Europe and South America and guests visiting from around the world. If you are interested in bringing a group, please fill out our request form on the Visiting BTI page. e
