Come celebrate Israeli Judaism and the spirit of an Israeli house of prayer with us through an inspiring musical experience, with the delicate combination of the Jewish and the Israeli, the personal and the communal, the new and the old.

The festive Shabbat reception combines familiar and well-known poetry and Shabbat songs with contemporary Israeli songs of hope, vision, joy and a sense of togetherness. Many sang in the best traditions of an Israeli house of prayer in new orchestral arrangements. Among the songs: "Lecha Dodi", "Hachnesini Tseteh Knappach", "Shabbat Hamalka", "Yedid Nefesh", "Erev Mol Gilead", "Mizmor L'David", "Ya'le Ya'le", "Amen" and more...

Connecting the tears

Connecting the tearsTisha B'Av Eve in an Israeli synagogueReading the Book of LamentationsA circle of poetry and lamentations from then and nowScreening of the film NOVA#A conversation with the film director In one of the most difficult years in the history of the country, we ask to unite on the eve of Tisha B'Av with the tears of then and now. We will gather together on the day of mourning of the Jewish people in order to connect hearts to the difficult times, distant and near. During the evening, we will screen the moving film # Nova From director Dan Far Zahorai, a film composed entirely of material filmed and recorded in real time at a nature party near Kibbutz Reim, which was cut short when Hamas terrorists committed a mass massacre of the partygoers, and kidnapped some of them to Gaza. Minute by minute, the horror unfolds before us.
Entry is restricted to those over 18 years of age. Warning: The film is not easy to watch. At the end of the film, we will have a conversation with the film's director and other participants. Led by Rabbi Esteban Gottfried, Rabbi Dr. Rani YagrovParticipation Ensemble Israeli Prayer House Beit Shalom Aleichem, Berkowitz 2, Tel AvivMonday 12.8.24 at 8:00 PM Admission is free with advance registration Link to article about the film here
