The activities of Beit Tefilah Israeli are made possible thanks to generous donations and support from Israel and abroad who see the importance of the enterprise, and thanks to annual membership fees from community members.
Needless to say, although the state supports Orthodox houses of worship and communities, we are not supported at all by institutional bodies. Furthermore, our very decision to maintain an independent community that is not affiliated with any stream prevents us from receiving support from the central bodies of liberal movements in Israel and abroad.
This has created a situation where supporters of Beit Tefilah Israeli are mainly private individuals and pioneering charitable organizations who understand the importance of the work of BTI, and believe that enterprises like ours, which come to offer a significant Israeli Jewish alternative that is egalitarian, liberal, dynamic, committed to Israeli society and meaningful - are the need of the hour.
