On the night of Shavuot, when we gather to learn, to question, to renew, and to receive the Torah, this year we have chosen to dedicate the *Tikkun Leil* (all-night study session) to humor. Not as an escape from seriousness, but as one of the deepest ways to encounter it. In Jewish tradition, in Israeli humor, in satire, in clowning, in film, and on stage, humor is much more than entertainment: it is a language of wisdom, a tool for critique and repair, a way to cope with pain and difficulty, and sometimes even a spiritual stance of humility, freedom, and hope. On this Shavuot eve, we will seek to learn about the power of laughter – the laughter that challenges conventions, that brings hearts together, that allows us to gently speak a difficult truth, and that reminds us that even amidst brokenness, embarrassment, and uncertainty, humans are capable of continuing to play, create, question – and live.

Can you laugh about everything? Ask Eran.
"We didn't believe you'd get out of this. Your attitude toward life is what saved you."
(This is what the doctors told Eran ben Zeev, after a year and a quarter of hospitalization and grueling rehabilitation).
We invite you to a lecture that is anything but a typical "illness story.".
Eran takes a fascinating, moving (and sometimes sad) life story and presents it with excellent humor, lightness, and personal charm that keep the audience riveted to their seats.
Come meet the man who winked at illness – and came back to tell the tale, make you laugh, and give us all new perspective on life.
Don't miss a once-in-a-lifetime meeting.
