An Israeli house of prayer is coming to Jerusalem! And not just to Jerusalem, to the Old City, and not just to the Old City, to the Western Wall! And not just to the Western Wall but to the egalitarian Western Wall! (The Western Wall!) We are happy to announce a new initiative of musical and joyful Shabbat receptions, especially at the Western Wall, in collaboration with the traditional movement that operates the place. The Shabbat reception will be, as is customary at the place - without instruments - a cappella, with a fine vocal ensemble that includes cantor Athaliah Lavie, singer Moran Maysles and singer Erez Tal, and led by Rabbi Esteban Gottfried. Admission is free. It is recommended to park in the Mount Zion parking lot or in the adjacent parking lot, or in the Kata parking lot. Friday, June 24, Shabbat Korach, 6:00 PM, at the Western Wall.
