At the museum we
Tisha B'Av is a traditional and national day of remembrance and mourning. This year, we come together to mark the date. Hadad Institute in Tel Aviv, the Egalitarian Minyan, the Koret Center, and Beit Tefilah Yisraeli.
On the night of Tisha B'Av, we will gather together to reflect and learn about fracture and destruction – alongside hope and healing.
In the evening, we will journey through the past, present, and future. We will reflect on the memory of the past, through reading the Book of Lamentations and a visit to Jewish history throughout the museum, and pause on the present, in learning circles about mourning and pain led by facilitators from the egalitarian minyan, the Hadar Institute, and the Ko'ra Center.
This evening, we will conclude with a look into the future, with a conversation about hope and healing with Liat Azili, an educator, who will speak with Rabbi Dr. Rani Jaeger from Beit Tefilah Yisraeli.Registration fee of 30 shekels
