Music and prayer are two universal languages that express the depths of the soul and spirit. Both connect us to each other, to nature, and to something greater than ourselves. What is it about music that enables a meaningful prayer experience? What is the place of sacred and profane in synagogue music? And what is the role of the piyyutim?

In one of the most magical places in Israel, on Fridays at sunset, we will gather for a musical and communal Shabbat reception at the seam between weekdays and Shabbat. A Kabbalat Shabbat for the whole family, with Israeli prayer, singing, a breeze, music and a communal atmosphere.

When are you coming to us? When will you come to Moyedin? A Zala that we have heard about many times. This year, thanks to the donation of a foundation that prefers to remain anonymous and the cooperation with the Modi'in-Maccabim-Re'ut municipality, we are opening the first season of Israeli and musical Shabbat kabbalahs in the beautiful Anaba Park, on the shores of the lake.

Join us for Israeli prayer, poetry, singing, community, and an atmosphere of togetherness.

The first Shabbat reception will be held on Friday, June 30th at 5:30 PM.

Kabbalat Shabbat at Caesarea Port

For the first time: Musical Shabbat reception at Caesarea Port

In June and July, every two weeks we will gather in one of the magical places on the coast of Israel, in the port of Caesarea - near the ancient ruins of the ancient temple (from the first millennium CE) that were discovered there, and through singing, piyyut, breeze, sunset, egalitarian prayer, music, and a good atmosphere, we will cleanse the old-new custom of entering the Sabbath, together.

An Israeli house of prayer is happy and excited about the new collaboration with the Caesarea Port and invites the general public to take part.
